Well, we finally made it to $5 bag day at the thrift shop. What I mean by that is that we finally got up early and got there close to opening. In the past, we have shown up in the afternoon and it has been practically empty. But it was a mad house! Filled with greedy people hoping to get it before anyone else can. The girls found a few things each. Unfortunately, the little girls found a few stuffed animals. Alyssa has a double sized bed and it is so full of stuffed animals already that she can barely fit on it. So why didn't I just say no you ask? Well, I did, then I ended up saying, "Oh alright" very grudgingly. I know, I know that is so bad. I just have a hard time saying no.
Danny is spending the day watching football and yelling at the television set. This brings back memories of fall days in my childhood. I remember so many afternoons when there was a good smell wafting through the house (usually stew or something cooking in the crock pot) and the sounds of a football game with my step-dad yelling at the television at the top of his lungs. So I tried to re-create that feeling today. The air was cool, Danny was watching football (which I might add is unusual for him) and I made stew. Yum! But I accidentally bought pork stew meat instead of beef. I thought it would be gross but it turned out very good, I really couldn't tell the difference. Now I am going to take my kids to the park and get some fresh fall air and exercise.
And by the way, I keep hoping somebody will leave a comment now and then. I am very curious who visits my blog? Anybody? Anybody out there????

Hey! I leave comments!!! I am really enjoying hearing what you have been up to, and love the pictures! WOW, I am on the internet now-haha! Yum, stew, sounds good. It was so warm here today. We had a church-wide picnic after church--lots of food and fun. We tried a new home group last night, it was aewsome!! The entire family is included, they sang songs, then a lesson, then food and games. It was so nice to fellowship with entire families, instead of just the adults like our last group. Cory stayed home, Cole cried all the way there because we were so mean to make him go, now he and Caity can't wait to go back! The study is over a book called "Family Driven Faith"== how to raise godly children who will stick with their faith after they leave home. Many of the families are homeschooling so it was a wonderful atmosphere!!
I love you and love your blog--keep up the good work sis!!
