I've been doing a Beth Moore Bible study on Esther. She did a survey and asked hundreds of women why it's tough being a women. She compiled this red book full of all of their answers. They all said things like, "It's tough being a women when......" Fill in the blank.
I didn't get to do that survey and I am feeling very hormonal today... emotional and kind of our of sorts. So I kind of felt like giving my own answers to that.
1. It's tough being a woman when you have to deal with hormones that make you feel like crying one minute, yelling the next, and laughing the next. Can anyone relate????
2. It's tough being a woman trying to balance all of the continuing demands coming from every direction at once. And feeling hormonal at the same time.
3. It's tough being a woman trying to cook for her husband who is a chef and feel like you can never measure up.
4. It's tough being a woman having kids who have just turned into teenagers and everything you ever knew about them is now different. Trying to understand them and make them understand that you really do love them. Setting rules for them that are neither to lenient nor too strict.
5. It's tough being a women having everyone constantly want your attention while trying to have just one complete thought for the day.
OK, enough of that. In all of that, I am so very thankful for my teenagers, my children, and my husband and God's grace is sufficient!!!
