Sleepy

I've been up practically ALL night with a stuffy nose and sore throat! Serious YUCK! So I thought, what could be a better time to update my blog? So here I am, battle weary, from trying so hard to sleep and not being able to. This is the second night in a row that I haven't been able to sleep.
Tuesday is my birthday, I really am going to be 38 now. For a couple years I have been thinking I am a year older than I actually am. Don't ask me why the confusion, maybe it has something to do with trying to home school four kids?
My sweet Mom is going to cook a birthday dinner for me. I hope I can stay awake to eat it...

We have the sweetest, cutest dog on earth. When she is begging for food, she just lays her head on your lap and looks up at you with those big brown eyes. She almost always gets a bite!
Her fascination with ice never ceases to amuse me. She LOVES it! She thinks you are giving her a real treat if you give her a piece of ice. She loves to run around outside and come in and flop on the air-conditioning vent. And guess what? The cats are starting to get used to her. Notice I said starting. The other day, though, our cat Suzanna was chasing her around the house. So funny to see a dog several times their size running from the cat and crying. What a wimp!
