Brittani celebrated her 11th birthday in July. She had a "movie theater" party. This is a picture of them watching a movie. They only watched half and then got distracted! They were watching "Night At the Museum".
Brittani had a really great time with all her friends, her only complaint was that it went by too fast! Danielle, Ali, and Grandpa (I probably should have listed Grandpa's name first) made a really cool dollhouse for Brittani, complete with carpet and curtains. Amazing! I will post a picture soon.

2. Danielle had a terrific 16th birthday party in the barn at our church. Soooo many people came and showed her their love! Her Aunt, Uncle, and cousins came all the way from Texas. She was showered with gifts and love! I will try to find some better pics soon. My camera was not up and running so I had to depend on other people's pics! And no way can my daughter possibly be 16. Just no way. Just YESTERDAY I was rocking her her and kissing her sweet little baby cheeks. Don't grow up so fast Danielle. I am not ready to let you go! Oh no, here come the tears... quick, time for a subject change!

3. The girls have taken up my interest in photography and they are doing great. Ali dressed Alyssa up in an old flower girl dress and took her outside for a photo shoot. So beautiful. The pics I picked out to put on here are a little dark. It's so hard to tell when I am choosing them. They are so tiny and hard to see.
The next day, she took Brittani out and took some more great pics. I haven't found them on the computer yet but when I do I will post some.

4. Yesterday, we went out to Danny's Mom and Dad's house for a cookout and visit. I have never seen so much dessert in all my life. Chocolate cake, chocolate pie, big cookies, little cookies, cherry cake, zucchini bread etc. You can see what made an impression on me!

They live in the country and have tons of room for kids (and dogs) to run and play. The kids zoomed around on the go-cart. Even Brittani got to drive which made me feel a little faint at heart... We took Molly (our dog) and she had the time of her life. She even met a boy. I am pretty sure they would have had a thing going if we could have stayed longer.
5. God has done so much in me this summer. Recently I finally really got a revelation of who I am in Him! I've known it for years, but it's one thing to know it and another all together to KNOW it. Do you understand what I mean? I got a revelation! For more on this subject, check out my other blog. It's listed on the side bar over there under "Manna from Heaven".
6. Molly is still a joy to us. She is a lot of trouble for sure! The ticks and fleas have been a challenge. But she is worth it, she is so sweet and the kids are so in love with her.
Well, more thoughts later. I am all typed out for now.
