Branson Vacation

We had a GREAT time on our Branson vacation! God's grace was abundantly upon us. We loved Silver Dollar City. Although the first day, we got miserably soaked. We decided to ride the water rapids about 3 times in a row so we were pretty wet. Then the rain started. We were too cheap to buy ponchos, figuring we were already wet what can a little rain do to us? Well, it poured! We were soaked down to our undies! We ended up leaving a bit early that day. And it was wonderful to go back to our luxurious cabin and sit in the whirlpool tub! This picture is actually right before we left on our last day.

I just LOVE the atmosphere of Silver Dollar City. It is so cool looking. I am going to HAVE to get season passes one of these days.

This is the free after the park closes show. It was great. One thing I love about Branson is that it is so Christian. Everything centers around Christ. Awesome!!!

Cute cowboys!

This is the ride we loved the most! We probably rode this boat like 14 times or something! Right before the park closed for the day, there was no line, so the guy let us ride over and over. So much fun!

Uh Oh Danny, put your hands down. They will throw you off this ride for putting your hands up!
Actually though Danny was just putting his hands up to let the safety bar come down over us. But seriously, no putting your hands up on this ride. Bummer.

Candy Store!

Little hoppy frogs.

Here we are riding the train.

This is the swinging bridge that I thought would be so much fun. Wrong. Can anyone say, "throw-up?" Speaking of rides that I was wrong about... The barn swing. Looked like so much fun! Like a pleasant swing ride. I mean everyone on the ride's face seemed so happy. WRONGO! After the first time the ride held me a million feet high and looking straight down at the ground sure that I was going to fall flat on my face, I was praying like crazy for God to get me off! Thank God it was a short ride and I survived. Barely.

Here is Brittani actually milking a fake cow. Milk really comes out by the way. Or white colored water... who knows.

The restaurants were fun and yummy. Here we are at McFarlains. They have fried green tomatoes. Really, really like fried green tomatoes.

And here we are at our favorite Branson restaurant. Lambert's, home of the hand-tossed rolls. And they are so delicious. When you want a roll, they will throw it at you from across the room. Danny got nailed smack dab on the back of the head with one. And that earned us two free cinnamon rolls. Please roll man hit us again.

You get a TON of food there. Here is Danielle's gigantic salad.

We had a great time. I wish I would have taken more pictures. I didn't get any of the cabin which was so beautiful and so great! Those whirl-pool tubs... heaven. I do have a few more pics to share, which I will do in the days ahead.
