This and That but No Pictures

OK, seriously, I've got to break out my camera soon. I think that's the reason that I have put off posting. Because I think posts without pictures can be somewhat boring. But, just for all my die hard fans out there, I have decided to go ahead and post without a picture. Because I am thoughtful that way.

So what's been going on?
We had an awesome church service today. Our pastor was on fire!!! Man, is he anointed and I really needed that church service because I had gotten my eyes off the only thing in my life that keeps me sane. My Lord and Savior! The one who keeps me on course and makes me keep my life in perspective. And it's so easy for my life to get out of proper perspective. No what I mean? Problems look bigger than they are. Answers are a struggle. With Jesus the answers come easy without a struggle. And my priorities are clear.

We are still loving the dog. Although she does present some challenges. I am reminded that most things in life, come with some challenges one way or the other. Ticks are the biggest problem. Front line absolutely does not work on our dog. She is Front-line resistant. So on to bigger, better, and more costly solutions. I told the girls they are going to have to help earn the money.

Danny went to Dallas this weekend to his nephew's graduation. He was only gone one night. So I just took the day off. The kids and I vegged out. We went out for Chinese then the next day, we just slept, ate good food, and watched movies. We even played some cards. It was nice, but so good when Danny came home! I think absence does make the heart grow fonder.

Saturday we leave for a short trip to Branson. We are planning to go to Silver Dollar City. And do a little resting and hanging out together. We were blessed with a great place to stay. It's my Mom's time share and she is sharing it graciously with us! It's three bedrooms, three full baths with whirl pool tubs, and a full stocked kitchen. It's really beautiful up there and we are soooo looking forward to a family vacation. What a blessing.
