Goodbye Puppy

Is it possible to be very sad and happy at the same time? That dog was really starting to grow on me... I knew we really couldn't have a dog right now. We weren't ready for it financially or time wise but... still she was such a good little thing. So sweet with the kids and never once pottied in the house. We went around town today putting up a few signs saying that we had found a pug. I was going to put an add in the paper tomorrow. But all the while still kind of hoping...
Anyway, a long story short, we got a knock on the door this evening. A friend from church had heard that we took the dog home last night and it was her friend's dog and they were very sad and looking for it. So at least I know she has a good home and I am sure it was a very touching family reunion.
