Grocery Shopping

Usually, once a week, I go grocery shopping. I have made a tradition to take one girl with me at a time. They take turns and that way I get to spend quality one on one time with each girl. I love it and they love it too! I try to have a little date and take them out to eat or out for ice cream and also buy them a small treat, depending on the budget that week.
Tonight was Alyssa's turn. We had a good time. Stopped by my sister Lori's for a few minutes and Alyssa ended up wanting to stay there and play with my nephew, Ben. It's amazing how well they play together. Alyssa is all little girl and Ben is all little boy and he is all about Ninja turtles and super heroes. But Alyssa is an amazing little girl. She is able to get along with just about anybody. On our trip to California this summer, at our family reunion, she met a man probably in his 50's and spend a good hour and a half conversing with him. He didn't seem bored either.
Anyway, we have a delightful time on our way home singing Christmas songs. I think I have finally learned all the verses to Frosty the Snowman. I love that song.
