Christmas Programs Mean Getting Up Early

Yesterday, I spent the day Christmas shopping. I had to do most of my shopping in one day. Yikes! There were SO many people. I love people, but most generally, only a few at a time, if you know what I mean.
I didn't get home until after ten, didn't get in bed and to sleep until around midnight. Then I woke up in the middle of the night for about an hour and a half then had to get up at the crack of dawn, 7 a.m.! For any that know me they will understand that this was very painful! Now, I wish I was a morning person and I wish I only needed a little bit of sleep but wishing hasn't gotten me anywhere over the years so I have just accepted who I am and continued to hate early mornings. I lay in bed thinking, "Oh, the kids don't really need to go to there Christmas program do they?......" Of course, I talked myself into getting up and after about an hour everything was OK.
Below is a picture of the Christmas program that Ali, Brittani, and Alyssa did at church. Boo Hoo Danielle wasn't in it! But it was really pretty. They did a lot of singing and Brittani had a small speaking part that she worked very hard to memorize. She did a good job.

This is the Christmas program. Can you find Brittani? She is easy to find. Second row from the bottom second child over. Ali is the top right hand corner and poor Alyssa is behind the podium!

Here is another one of Ali's creations. They are potato peanut camels with a peanut wise man.

Brittani said to make sure and tell you that this is her very own creation. It is a skateboard with a little kids ironing board hooked on.

Brittani uses the ironing board to pull Alyssa around! Fun!
