About my cat...

As I said yesterday, I am beginning to think that my cat (the black one) is mentally retarded. I mean, she is just not normal. I know, all cats can be odd but this one regularly surprises us.

For example, when she uses the litter box, she will then scratch the wall next to the litter box, trying to cover her poo. Then she will go to the kitchen and spend 5 or 10 minutes scratching the linoleum. The poo never gets covered.
She won't usually come to here kitty, kitty. But if anyone is hollering she will come running. For instance, when I call my kids, my cat comes running. Or if you start to sing she will come to you. So once, when she got out of the house and under the van, in order to get her in we had to sing the National Anthem.
She hates to be picked up. When you pick her up she gets all tense and her claws come out. She loves to come and sit on your lap and let you pet her, but she must situate herself. If you try to move her even an inch she will yell at you and walk away.
When Mary (the grey cat) came to live with us Suzana hated her with a passion. She would hiss at her and we honestly thought she might kill her. But Mary loved Suzana and kept trying to be friends. I prayed a lot that God would help them get along and before too long they were best friends. But then Mary disappeared for a couple of days and when she came back, Suzana started to growl at her again. It took her a couple of days to get back to normal.
You see what I mean? There is more, but I don't want this to turn into a book right now. Actually, maybe I could write a book?
