Linn Family Update Part 2

About Danielle:

Danielle is doing really great at Francis Tuttle where she is studying engineering. She also takes Geometry and Chemistry there. I am so proud of her! She is working really hard, really enjoying it, and has not even missed one day of school. Isn't that amazing? Her world is really expanding. Going from basically being at home every day to going to school every day has been a big change but I really think she loves it. They have gone on some fun field trips too.
We really miss having her around though. It seems really strange not to have her with us when we go places.
She just went to her first dance. She looked really beautiful and I think she had a pretty good time. The only problem was that she didn't feel very confident in dancing. I can't help her there because I can't dance!
Danielle has made some new good friends too. One of her best friends goes to Francis Tuttle with her. I know that has helped her so much during the transition. Her friends name is Leighanne and she is very sweet and fun.
Danielle loves the youth group at church and NEVER wants to miss an opportunity to go. She is active in the junior high group at church as well. She is one of the leaders now, I think and she is also in the praise and worship band. This keeps her busy Tuesday and Thursday nights. She is in a puppet ministry at our church. She is a really great puppeteer. They have lots of opportunities to go around and minister to different groups of people.
Danielle LOVES music. She is always listening to music or going around singing.
All in all, she is a great girl, who really loves the Lord. She is thoughtful, kind, and fun loving.

About Ali:

Ali is such a fun, bright and cheery girl. She is always making us laugh. With her, we never know what to expect. She turned 13 and so she is a teenager now. She is still a little girl in many ways but growing up so fast. She really misses Danielle during the day.
Ali loves animals. She really loves monkeys. We often tease her that she really is one. She begs me for a real one. Can you imagine that? She wants to volunteer at the zoo as a junior zoo keeper. I think she has to be a little older to do this but I think she will be great at it.
Ali has lots of friends and loves to hang out with them. She is an expert heelyer. She goes to the junior high group at church and has just now started going to youth. I am not sure if I am ready for that though... But like it or not, she went tonight and liked it.
She is also a puppeteer.
Ali is very helpful and thoughtful. She loves the Lord.
