Omniplex

We went to the Omniplex today. It is now renamed the Science Museum of Okahoma. But it will always be the Omniplex to me. The kids had a lot of fun and I wished I would have brought my camera. They have a lot of new stuff there. They have a temporary pirates exhibit that I was really excited about seeing. Turns out you have to pay an extra ten dollars (almost) per person to see it! What a bummer!!!
Anyway, there was a lot of other great stuff too. I am thinking I may have to get another pass one of these days. They have a great big tree house playhouse with a slide that goes to the ceiling. A space room that looks like you are entering a real spaceship and when you go in it decontaminates you with a burst of air. They have a machines room with lots of pulleys and things you can turn and push to make things go. Another room with a wind tunnel thing that you can make paper and stuff fly up in the air. You can build your own racer with Lego's and race it down a track, build a huge tower with blocks, build a marble contraption on a peg board, and on and on it goes. It's a really great place! Next time I will bring my camera.

And by the way, I miss Christmas. I miss the music, the Christmas specials on t.v., the decorations, the festivity in the air. All of that. But we do still have our Christmas decorations up. I guess they will be coming down this weekend...

Better go fix dinner now. It's leftover night. I love leftover night. It's just so easy.
